A programme designed specifically for International Students
EC Boston has designed a special program for international students which includes the following components:
- Four of these lessons each week are designed solely to address the particular difficulties international students face in taking the exam.
- 6 Academic English lessons per week so that you can prepare to succeed in college, not just get in. These Academic English lessons will help you master the Academic skills (writing, research, presentations, etc) required of students in a US college or university programme.
Our Classes
We limit class size to fourteen students. That way we ensure that our teachers observe and respond quickly to students’ needs. Our students find that in these small classes, they learn a lot from other students as well as from the instructor.
You will be in a class where focus is placed upon providing you with the skills and practice needed to achieve the best score in your chosen test. You will be trained in exam technique and participate in sample tests, covering all sections of the test.
In all our classes we offer:
- Diagnostic exams before and after the course
- Practice tests in a simulated testing environment so you can build your confidence for the big day
- More teacher contact hours than other test prep providers
- Access to dozens of additional tests and practice questions in our resource library for up to a year following their course
- Comprehensive review of the content and exam technique needed to achieve top scores in the exam of your choice
- Computer based tests accompanied by practice sessions of tests in computerized format using materials to ensure you are completely prepared on the day you sit your exam.
