Your Arrival in Brighton
Airport TransfersAirport transfers can be arranged by EC if requested. Arrival information must be sent to EC as soon as possible. Please indicate clearly your arrival airport - Heathrow or Gatwick - terminal, time of arrival and flight number.
You will be met at the arrival gate by an EC driver with an EC sign. If you do not see the EC logo, please go to the Airport Information desk and call our emergency number which you will find in your booking information.
If you are making your own travel arrangements to Brighton, we will ensure you have full details of your homestay, residence or hotel address. When staying in a homestay, it is important to tell us what time you expect to arrive. This is to ensure that your host family is at home ready to welcome you after 6pm.

Your First Day at EC Brighton

How to get to schoolOn the first day, your host family will explain how to get to the EC school. They will help you find the nearest bus stop and tell you which route and numbers to take as well as how to arrive the last stretch on foot. If you are staying in an EC residence, you will receive a welcome letter with directions and other useful information. Our Google map shows where EC Brighton is located within the city centre.
Placement TestsYou are sent a placement test with your booking confirmation when attending EC Brighton. It is very important that you complete this test and return it to EC at least one week before your arrival
Your First DayYou are required to be at EC by 8:45am on your first day (in summer students you should be at school by 8:30am). At school you will receive a welcome talk. During this talk you will be introduced to the school, its facilities and our friendly members of staff. After the welcome talk, you will be met by one of your teachers who will show you to your classroom.
