You can arrange for an airport pick-up from JFK, La Guardia or Newark (NJ) with EC. A driver will meet you at the airport, so look out for him holding up a sign with your name on it. Your driver will be waiting for you inside the arrival waiting gallery.
If you require an airport transfer, you must let us know seven days in advance. The charge for a one-way transfer is $130.
Please be in school on your first day by 8:30am. On your first day you should bring your I-20 form / F-1 student visa, proof of health insurance (for the entire length of programme passport, and pen and paper.
On your first day you will take a placement test to determine your English ability and which class level you will be placed in. After the test there is a Welcome Breakfast for all new students. This is followed by a short talk made by EC New York staff explaining all the useful information you will need to know during your stay. Depending on your course, you may start school on
the first day at 12:45 or the following day.
