Studying English really works up an appetite, for. . . crepes?! Of course, Boston is as cultured as any other world city. Why shouldn’t our students enjoy the warm deliciousness of crepes, made fresh right there in front of them? Lots of toppings were available, like jam, sugar, bananas, whipped cream, and of course — Nutella!
The Valentine’s Day Party was a great success! Students and teachers mingled, ate pink cake, and wrote valentines . . . in English, of course.

The warmer weather right now is making us think of spring, but every season in Boston is beautiful in its own way. TOEFL student Alexandra Stepanova took these pictures last fall, of some of the things that make autumn in Boston enchanting and unique.
Last week Jacob Meunier’s PROFICIENT class debated the pros and cons of marijuana legalization. Both teams prepared for the debate by researching the legal and social history of drug laws in the US, then engaged in a spirited debate on the subject in class. It was truly an epic battle!
