Below you can see what great activities we are offering in June. As well as the usual Free English Lessons and weekend excursions, we will be running Punting every week and introducing for the first time this year, The University of Cambridge Botanical Gardens!

Remember to check the excursions board in the Computer Room for any updates and of course on Facebook. Look out for not but two awesome concerts as well. Beyonce and Greenday! If you want more information or have any questions see Mike in the Computer Room!

Study ESL abroad at EC Cambridge

Did you know that 375 million people speak English as their first Language? As well as being the primary Language in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand it is also widely spoken in parts of Africa and West Asia as a secondary Language.

At EC, we know having English as a second Language is really important to our students. Whether they are from Europe, South America, Asia the middle east, it does not matter, what does matter is that being able to speak English is surely going to help them suceed in a Global Community.

In our opinion, the best and quickest way to learn English is to emerse yourself in the Language in this case in a English speaking country. So why not study ESL abroad at EC Cambridge!

EDUGOLD at EC Cambridge

The 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, we have a careers advisor who attends the school from Edugold. She is hear to give you advice on everything from finding a jog, help with CV’s and covering letters, applying to university and any other careers advice you might need.

The service is free of charge to EC students, so why not make the most of this great oppurtunity! See Mike to book your personalised appointment!

CSR at EC Cambridge – Live below the line!

This week Jenny and Ed are taking on the “Living below the Line” challenge. They have a budget of £1 per day for their food and drink from Monday to Friday!

Ed went out and spent £5 on food and drink yesterday to last him until Saturday. This is what he bought!

They’re doing this to raise awareness and support for people living in poverty. If you would like to donate please speak to Jenny, Ed or Mike.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Excursions at EC Cambridge

We still have tickets for what will be a fantastic game of football between two of Englands best clubs. Chelsea fighting for a Champions League spot and Aston Villa fighting to remain in Englands top flight!

Summer Accommodation at EC Cambridge

Whilst studying English in Cambridge is an amazing experience, some students worry about accommodation. Well worry no more, at EC Cambridge we have some amazing residence accommodation for our adult students.

CB1 is located right next to the train station, a 20 minute walk from the school (5 – 10 minutes by bike). All rooms are en suite and have excellent facilities! So when you book your course, ask for CB1!

Bank Holiday Approaching – EC Cambridge

Just a reminder that Monday 6th May is a bank holiday in the UK and therefore the school will be closed!

School will re-open Tuesday the 7th May at 08:30.
