Visit to the Cederberg

Some students recently hired a car and drove to the wilderness area of the Cederberg – about two hours north of Cape Town.  Here you can see fabulous Bushman/San rock paintings, wild flowers in August and September and fabulous wild scenery.  The area is well known for its wild flower displays which are quite breathtaking and bring visitors  to the area from all over the world.

See for yourself what the area has to offer!!!!clanwilliam-018

4 Day Garden Route Safari

cape-town-safari A group of EC Cape Town students recently went on a 4 day safari up the world famous Garden Route.  Apart from spectacular scenery they were able to see and do things that most people only dream of!!!  They first went to Outdshoorn which is the centre of the world’s  ostrich industry.  Some even tried Ostrich riding and some went to the nearby Cango caves.   From there they went on a safari and saw some of Africs’s famous animals including lions.  They also visited Knysna elephant park – home to orphaned and abandoned elephants. Canoeing was also included on their trip and the highlight of the trip was a bungey from the Blaukrans bridge – the highest bungey in the world at 216 metres. Throwing yourself off a bridge into a huge abyss is not for the faint hearted.  Some loved it and some??????  Well at least it is something you can tick off  on ‘your life’s to do list’!!!!!!azzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
