Our students were so excited to play a game of Laser Tag, some of them for the first time. Thanks to our teachers Elliot and Daniel for making it extra fun!

Easter is just around the corner! We have some great activities planned for April including an Easter egg hunt. For the first time ever we are introducing a Zumba class! It is a free class so sign up and come join LyKai as she teaches you some zumba moves! Let’s dance and burn some calories at the same time. April 14th is Giving Back Day. We are going to clean one of our lovely beaches. Thereafter we will enjoy a game of volleyball and have a barbeque as well. Pick up a copy of the schedule and sign up early for some fun activities!

Kozue Jinnouchi is originally from Japan and has been studying General English. We sat down with her to get her input about EC San Diego.

HOW DID YOU COME ACROSS EC? I found out about EC ENGLISH on the internet and a booklet.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXCITING THING YOU HAVE DONE IN SAN DIEGO? I went to Sea World with my friends and watched some dolphin shows! That is my most exciting experience!

IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO STUDENTS INTERESTED IN LEARNING ENGLISH? If you are interested in learning English, you should study abroad and come to EC. You also make a lot of foreign friends!

Thomas is a student from Switzerland who has completed his course and is getting ready to travel back home. He has such a lovely personality and lights up every room he walks into. Thomas says he enjoyed his stay with his host family and they were like a second family to him.He has a younger brother. Thomas took advantage of his time in San Diego and he shares some of the fun activities to do while in San Diego.

What activities would you recommend for students to do while in San Diego?

  • Take a trip to Las Vegas
  • See the Island of Coronado and the USS Midway
  • For the night life, go to Altitude Sky lounge on the rooftop of the Marriott hotel in downtown gaslamp area. Also visit the club Ivy and Fluxx.
