At EC we're taking real and effective action to reduce our impact on the environment.
Reducing our carbon footprint (the measurement of all greenhouse gases we individually produce) is something that's been very important to EC, and so, we've teamed up with Carbonfootprint.com – a company dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In an effort to combat climate change, we're working with them to offset our own carbon footprint through offering financial support for forestry projects around the world.
So why trees? Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere (C02 is one of the most potent greenhouse gases) and convert it into oxygen.
We’re lowering our impact on climate change by making a monetary donation each time someone in our company takes a flight. Carbonfootprint.com then put this money to good use by investing in projects that absorb the release of carbon dioxide.
