Summer in San Francisco

It's a very, very special time to visit The City by the Bay. This year, the famous symbol of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, celebrates its 75th anniversary!

The well-loved bridge is one of the modern Wonders of the World and something you must see during your life! In celebration of this beautiful structure, San Francisco is going festival mad in 2012!

EC Bristol is ISI accredited!

Having the best schools means you having the best time on your course.

At EC we are committed to high standards: we want to have the best schools, the best lessons and the best teachers so you will have an experience you will love!

To make sure our standards are maintained, our schools are inspected to by major accreditation organisations. These organisations visit our schools and carefully check the quality of service we provide our students. It's not easy to get accreditation; it takes a lot of hard work and effort.

EC Community Day 2012

Our first EC Community Day was a huge success! EC students and staff at our 15 schools volunteered their time and energy to a variety of good causes, with each centre doing something unique and special in making positive contributions to local communities.

Community and Environment Update

We are very excited to share with you some fantastic stories where the EC family has been responsible for making a positive impact in our local communities and environments!

EC San Francisco

Did you know that EC San Francisco is a LEED Gold Certified building? This means they generate greenhouse gas reductions equivalent to removing 270 vehicles from the road, and use 36% less water than minimum government standards. Something for us all to aspire to!

Welcoming and moving: Changes at EC!

Wow, what a busy few months it’s been at our EC schools!

Firstly we welcomed our first three Canadian schools into the family with the acquisition of centres in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

An exciting new location for EC London

On 2nd April 2012, EC London is moving to a new building in the centre of the city.

Next to Euston and King's Cross Stations, in an exciting part of Travel Zone 1, EC London's new location is perfect for the easy access to all parts of the city, and even the rest of Europe using the nearby Eurostar rail link!

Our beautiful new school, in the modern and bright EC style, will include:

Support for Japan at EC Malta

Staff and students at EC Malta joined forces to raise funds and show solidarity for the Japanese people in the wake of the recent tragic disaster to hit the country.

EC's Malta school reception area became packed full of supporters as some of the most wonderful and varied aspects of Japan's culture was celebrated.

EC Cake? What are we celebrating?

We're celebrating the new home of EC Brighton, of course!

Our Brighton English school became so popular that there was no longer enough space to fit all our eager students in.

Rather than disappoint anyone by saying, "Sorry, you can't come here, we're full!", we decided to move to a much bigger school.

Our new building is huge and, we think, in a much better location next to Brighton Pier.

Spread over three floors, the all-new EC Brighton has 34 air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi throughout and rooms for quiet study on every floor.
