Do you have any plans for this weekend. If not, here are a couple recommendations from our Student Services intern, Trang, you should try!
I know that shopping is one of the top reasons you visit Boston. So let’s go for a walk through Newbury Street and stop by any stores you like. There are a bunch of famous stores there – Zara, H&M, The Closet, or even some big-name designers such as Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren. But there are not just clothing shops on Newbury Street, you can also find stylish restaurants such as Piattini Wine Cafe and Sonsie, one of Boston’s the best places for fashionable patrons to enjoy an upscale brunch, a few post-shopping cocktails, or trendy nightspots.
Another way to spend your Saturday morning is joining the Back Bay Chocolate Tour. It is 2.5 hour walking tour through some of the city landmarks, like Copley Square, the Prudential Center and the Public Library. Imagine! Nothing’s better than enjoying chocolate samples while indulging in the history of chocolatier through the words of an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. She definitely gives you some tips on tasting, buying and storing high-quality chocolate. So be sure to be at Flour Bakery on 131 Clarendon Street, Boston, MA 02115 on Saturday, Aug 15, 2015 at 10AM.
