EC London teachers recommend….Wales (Part2)

So why go to Cardiff I hear you ask? Well, it’s a small city with only about 350,000 people living in the city centre, so it makes a nice change to London. You can see most of it in two days and everything in the city centre is within easy walking distance. This means you don’t have to spend a lot of time or money on public transport. Despite the fact it’s small and compact, there is plenty to do and is definitely worth a visit. Cardiff castle dominates the centre and looks out over a wide variety of high street shops. There is also the Millenium Stadium, the new international football and rugby stadium built in 1999 and the only one in the UK with a sliding roof!! This is where Wales beat England in the rugby on Saturday! (Well Rugby is our national sport….!)
