Languages Canada's 2nd Annual World Student Day!

Sharing is caring!

wsd 6

EC Montreal is a member of Languages Canada.  This association acts as the voice of the Canadian language training sector and its mission is to promote quality, accredited English and French language training in Canada, both nationally and internationally and to represent Canada as the number one destination for quality English and French language training.

Last year, Languages Canada initiated a World Student Day celebration.  Events were held in 9 major Canadian cities celebrating our international students.  The purpose of the celebration is thanking our international students for everything they bring to our schools and our city!

Unfortunately, Montreal did not hold a united event last year. EC Montreal held its own celebration at the Varcity 515.

This year, most Languages Canada member programmes will be part of the celebration.  The event will take place on Friday, June 12 at 2000 Ste-Catherine Street West.  EC Montreal has purchased 115 tickets from 12 to 2 p.m.  There will be entertainment that includes a DJ, music, talent show, games, prizes as well as food.  EC Montreal will have a booth distributing hotdogs.  We will end classes early that day so all the students and teachers can participate.

We would love to see EC Montreal students prepare something to present at the World Student Day celebration.

EC Montreal will be selling tickets for only $2.00.  For $7.00, we will throw in an EC t-shirt that the students can wear to the celebration and show their pride of being an EC Montreal student.
