The most popular unit!!! Smile I see pages before and I reckon it will be pages after my comment. I'm not standing out in a crowd. I made the same mistake that the majority did. "Excited" made me confused. I still can't understand this point. Smile Wish you luck.

Nino

Well , can any one explain this for me !

It was the most ___ I have been watching a film.

I think the answer is " exciting " . isn't it correct? Loser Thinking Confused

Very good lesson!!!!

Unfortunatelly, this topic is difficult for me... Always...
That's why I have added it in my favourite lessons Smile

Could you exlpain me, what does it mean "fiework"??? In the prases: "Dogs often feel frightened during fieworks".

Is the same "firework" or is it the mistake?

This doesn't make sense!!

It was the most excited I have been watching a film.

A possible explanation

Yes, it's confusing.

"I have been watching" looks like present perfect continuous. Like this, the general meaning seems to be "I am excited because I have been watching a film".

But the superlative, and the use of "It" makes this strange.

The problem is that "watching a film"  is a reduced participle clause. What is missing is the word "while".

"It is the most excited I have been (while) watching a film." Or, in more detail...

"I have been excited while watching films before, but never as much as this time."

 Does this help?
