A tricky exercise for you today!

Choose the correct word in each sentence.

All of these words are very common, but very easy to confuse. Let me know which questions give you problems and I will explain the reason.

One mistake was made in the last sentence. Why I can't use "No one of my friends..." instead of "None of my friends..."? Is it a constant expression or something like that?

P.S. I've noticed a typo in 1. There are two identical answers "anyone" in that multiply choice.

None vs. No one

Thanks for pointing out the typo.

In the last question "no one" is used with is used with singular verbs.

"None" is used with plurals.

I made one mistake in 8-th because of my inattention. I put nothing instead of anything although I knew that there must be only one negative in the sentence.

Thanks for this lesson.

I had two mistakes in 9 and 10. It was difficult for me to chose right variants in 10 sentence. I don't understand why we use None in the 10 sentence. When I made this I had used "No one"
