In the shop

I _1_ up late this morning because I forgot to set my alarm. It was my turn to _2_ up the shop so I had to hurry. The first thing I did when I arrived was _3_ up because the shop was still a mess from yesterday.

At about 10 a.m. a customer came in and said something to me. I couldn't hear what she was saying so I asked her to _4_ up. When she repeated I realised she wasn't speaking English. I don't speak any other languages and she couldn't speak much English. To help she took a dictionary out of her bag and started to _5_ up words. It was hard for both of us but we kept trying to understand each other, we didn't _6_ up. I have to admit it was confusing for both of us and we easily got _7_ up.

Eventually I figured out she speaking Korean and she had just come in to _8_ up some glue to _9_ up a hole in her shoe!

It was fun trying to communicate with her. It made me think how cool it would be to learn another language. Perhaps I will _10_ up Korean!
