i'm Ali,it seems that you are having problems with listening,dont worry,you're not the only one i also have the same problem,but not any longer.Here are some guidlines to fllow concerning this task:
First of all,you should be able to distinguish between hearing,which is a Human physical ability,and listening.To becoming a good listener try to:
1- concentrate on what the speaker is saying,do not pay attention to what is going on on the classroom.
2- do not let your mind wander,try just to focuse on the speaker's words even if you already know what the speaker is talking about.
3-show the speaker that you're listning using body language(nodding,looking directly at him,..ect)
4-Practice,because the more you listen the better your listening skill becomes.
i've tried these cnstrucrions myself and they were useful.
please tell me what you think.

I am new here. I just accidentally got to this page yesterday. How are you all doing here?

How is this site helping us to learn more english? I am new to this site. I hope somebody can tour me around to know how to use this site for improving my english. And how do I contact with you guys for father studying or doing group chatting to discuss all things about english studying?

I am also new to english and want to speak english well.
In my opinion, you have to know how to learn how to pronounce English at an acceptable level. At first just try to listen to words , then get used to with the accent of the native speakers. After that , when you can regconize words when listening, you can focus on topic what they are talking about. Listen to moives, radios,....or whatever you find online to listen to in english. Then for a not long period of time, you will have the ability for listening.

Those are my experiences I want to share with you here.
I hope you will do well in listening later.

I hope to make some friends here to help each other in learning english!!!

If any of you guys have skype or ym, the you can add me up. I can help you guys out with pronunciation and grammar. Just a casual conversation but we'll pick up some important notes from english articles and we'll see if we can handle comprehension as well.

me,too. i can't understand why i can't listen what foreigner s taliking about although i try to practice hard but it can be better at all.. i think that maybe due to my stupid mind, i can't improve it. i just can catch some words from them and guess.

me too. i can't understand when the foreigner' talking about although.i just get some word and guess and sometime catchs one sentence. it's very hard to regconizes the words, when they speak to fast and a word link another word. This is the first time' i join this website.I want to leanr more english and improve my english' i don't know how do i contact with you guys.

Me too im having a hard time to listening those native english speakers.  So good i found this website. It helps me a lot to learn the correct grammar usage. For this reason, i always watch english movies for me to be familiar in english words.
