idea, but i think if you read and learn english , you must be commiunicat via mails letters and gup shup with our friends, grammer is
a importent metter for a new learner ,
It is a very big job - to learn any second language. I must admit that my English is not very well.
First, I try to listen to radio - it is a very good source of English listening. I listen to records of English adapted books too - stories, even novels.
Second, I watch some movies, most of the times I am very busy with reading subtitles, anyway, it helps to create a net between written word and spoken word, and they are often quite different.
Third, I read a lot. I read adapted books (from Oxford Bookworms or Penguin Readers) or original ones (we have in Russia a series of English books with very tedious comments, it is called Frank's system of reading). These books help me to learn new words.
And forth, I take some lessons through Skype with native speaker tutor - it helps me speak better.
Anyway, it is a long road and I barely hope to speak English like a native speaker (or at least close to that).
I went to course for one year and then I have been trying to improve my English to study myself by using a lot of different documantaries from internet especially. And I also read books, when I have free times I watch TV a lot, of course some channels broadcasting English. recently I have started to use this site. I can revise my old subjects and have a chat with many interesting people from around the world. sometimes I try to talk to myself by looking at a mirror. One of my teacher advised this activity to me when I was at my English course and belive me ıt works. If you haven't got a friends, this way could be an impressive way to make speaking skill better. Couldn't be?

if you want to be good in reading, you must read as much as possible, of course the document which are suit for your level as I've been trying. after a while you will realise you are improving your reading skill.
YOu got it right bench, you have to immerse yourself in as much english as you can. That way, you get to familiarize with it even more. Those three means are probably the most effective way in honing your english skills.
I learnt English by watching lots of English movies and TV shows. In my case subtitles helped me a lot it made my listening skill better. Then I read English book it’s a very good practice to increase your word stock.
