Linda Henry

I like seeing students of levels, from high fliers to complete beginners, maximising their potential & achieving their different goals. I also love the rapport it’s possible to build up with a class. I believe in serious & thorough teaching while having fun – students will always retain a memory of a lesson which included laughter. Malta has been my home for 25 years out of the 35 years of my teaching career – a very safe place to bring up my daughter and now grandson. I feel a respected & valued part of the EC team and try to help new teachers.

You will learn better if you enjoy the process, so practise your grammar & skills by using on-line follow-up & puzzles both on ECs website and other websites with language activities e.g. www.miniclip.com. Also out of school try not to talk to students who speak your language all the time (although i know it’s relaxing at the end of the day!). Make a concerted effort to mix & converse with other nationalities - you can try to correct each other’s English!
