The modern Bay Street Shopping centre is just five minutes' walk from EC Malta while Valletta and Sliema, the island’s two major shopping areas, are only short bus rides away.
High street shops with all the latest fashioncan be found mainly in Sliema and Valletta . Shops selling the latest trends from Milan and London can be found side-by-side making it a shopper's paradise. After a morning of shopping you can stop for a light snack at one of the many outdoor cafes or restaurants that serve food to suit all tastes.
Besides high street shops, a daily street market can be found in Merchants Street in Valletta and on Sundays there is a large flea market outside the City Gate.
