Nightlife

As soon as the sun goes down, Brighton's nightlife gets going. From dusk till dawn, seven days a week, the city is alive with theatergoers, film enthusiasts, dancers, clubbers and party animals.

There's a wide range of entertainment from comedy at the Brighton Komedia , world music, opera and ballet at the Brighton Dome, jazz at the Joogleberry, top stars at the Brighton Centre and pre-London West End shows at the Theatre Royal.

Clubs are open every evening, some even on Mondays. Live music thrives in pubs and small venues, and most have special nights to suit all tastes. Brighton has over 200 pubs and wine bars and several pre-club bars, such as the popular Brighton Komedia café-bar, offering live entertainment. On the clubbing scene there’s a choice of over 30 nightclubs, located throughout the city and at beach level and catering for every taste.
