What's big, colourful, involves 2000 police officers, lasts for 3 days and has been going for 43 years? 

That's right, it's the Notting Hill Carnival! This weekend the Carnival hits the streets of West London, and with it come thousands of tourists, party-goers, dancers, musicians, the whole Notting Hill area will explode in a multi-coloured street party.

EC Malta is CertTESOL and LTCL Diploma validated

EC Malta proudly announces its validation as an independent provider of the Trinity College Certificate in TESOL, as well as the LTCL Diploma in TESOL. EC is currently delivering its début DipTESOL online course, due to end in May 2009, and will soon be running its first CertTESOL course in November 2008.

Just a quick reminder to let you know that EC Malta will be closed on Friday, 15th August as it is a national holiday. On Friday the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady (Santa Marija) is celebrated. Mary is the patroness of Malta and this day is marked with celebrations across the island especially in Mosta.

EC's Charity Work for the Czech Republic

Five years ago the Czech Republic president, Václav Klaus, and his wife, Liviá, established an endowment fund for disadvantaged children, Nadační fond manželů Livie a Václava Klausových. EC has been privileged to help out this foundation by offering eight scholarships to children sent by the charity to learn English in Malta, Brighton and Cambridge.
