"I chose Cambridge because of the city's reputation as a ‘student city’, and also because it’s quite near London. I also chose it because of its size - it's not too big but still has pubs, stores, parks and beautiful surroundings. Also Cambridge is famous in my country for its colleges and history.

I chose EC because it was the only school providing accommodation in a residence. I liked the friendly teachers and the atmosphere in the office. It’s very personal and you feel safe. I valued the activities offered by the school too. I appreciated that you have a social activity programme every week (and the free coffee and muffins, of course!). A friendly welcome on the first day also meant a lot when everything felt a bit ‘scary.’

Accommodation is the best! I lived in the Hills Road Residence and it was perfect. The most important thing is that we all have a private bathroom.

If I needed/wanted to do another English course I would definitely feel comfortable going back to EC. I can truly recommend it to others!
