Sightseeing

The Colleges of Cambridge University are perhaps the main attraction for many of the city’s visitors. They are everything you might imagine of an ancient, world-renowned university city. For your first sightseeing excursion, a tour around one or more of the colleges is a must.

The River Cam is another popular stop-off point where ‘punting’ is a favourite past time. You can either hire a punt and make your own way along the river, or take a guided tour courtesy of a personal boatman, although this is slightly more expensive.
