Sightseeing

Brighton has plenty of sights to discover, even if you're just ambling around the town centre.

Whether you are after museums and landmarks, or pubs and clubs, you are sure to find it in this diverse city. The Brighton Pavilion and the Pier are hard to miss, and offer a wonderful insight into the origins of the city as a seaside resort of yesteryear; and today.

There are several cinemas as well as theatres (the Theatre Royal, the Komedia Theatre), a concert hall (Brighton Dome) and museums/art galleries (the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, Hove Museum and Art Gallery). You can also join a bus tour or a walking tour (for the more active) that will take you round the major sites whilst explaining the history behind them.
