Sports & Outdoors

The sea and seafront walkways bring a very sociable, sporty and outdoor way of life the city. Whether you just want a leisurely evening stroll or a brisk morning jog, the seafront, which spans from the Brighton Marina to Hove, make for a wonderful place to exercise.

In summer, the beach has its own special seasonal range of sports from swimming to volleyball and more. There are also plenty of spectator sports - enjoy a day at Brighton Races or a night at Brighton Greyhound Stadium. Or take a Brighton Walks tour - a Ghost Walk or Legends of the Lanes. The rolling South Downs are great for walking and cycling, and all year round there are hundreds of events from the famous London to Brighton RAC Veteran Car Run and National Speed Trials, to power boat racing and kite festivals.

Brighton is also home to football and rugby pitches and cricket fields where you can go and watch some great games. If participating is more your thing, there are golf courses, tennis courts, badminton courts, swimming pools, fitness centres and gymnasiums for public use.< /p>
