Well, according to the calendar we are now well into British summertime. Euro 2008 is almost over, the Wimbledon tennis championships have started, it's Glastonbury weekend, and you know what that means?

That's right, RAIN!!!!

Looking out the window today we could be in November. But I'm not complaining, no, because that's just England and we're used to it! Some of us even like it...

IELTS at EC London

What a first day. I arrived bright and early, ready for anything. I saw the madness of the teachers' room at 8:45. I learnt everybody's names, then I forgot them again. Then I met the students, then the reception team, then the people in the cafe. In the morning I had been nervous, by lunchtime I was running around like a madman, at the end of the day I was exhausted. I felt like I'd been there for a month, and yet the day had passed so quickly I couldn't remember if I'd eaten anything!

EC London has started offering 4-week Intensive Electives to cater for a variety of student needs. Elementary and Pre-Intermediate students can follow a "Survival English" course, focusing on speaking, listening and pronunciation in everyday situations. Students of Intermediate level and above can choose from one of the following options: Grammar Revealed!
