Boston is a city that conjures up images of distinguished academics, famous universities and a history leading to the American revolution. Harvard and MIT may be the most notable academic institutions in this cultured city, but Boston is home to many universities and colleges, giving the city a youthful, fun and dynamic atmosphere.
Boston is safe, clean and compact, with a perfect combination of shiny skyscrapers and historical buildings. There is so much to do – with a population of over half a million people, Boston really does have something for everyone. Students can choose to travel even further with extra visits to New York and Niagara Falls available.
Lessons are focused upon communication; our teachers will encourage students instilling confidence in their use of English in practical situations. Regular tests and conversation classes help to ensure students improve their English throughout their stay in Boston. Classes are held in a fantastic Junior Centre in the heart of Boston, with all the attractions of the city within walking distance of the school.
Students have the opportunity to experience the magic of the mighty Niagara Falls with this weekend Extra! Spending two days visiting Niagara and Toronto, Canada’s largest city, students take an exhilarating boat ride at the falls, hearing the roar in their ears and feeling the mist in their face. Students also travel to Toronto, visiting all the sights this city has to offer.
Explore the Big Apple by foot, bus and ferry! Students will visit the most important sites in New York including: the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square, Fifth Avenue and much more. They will also have time to shop and explore the city with their friends.
Other Extras available in Boston include visits to the 6 Flag theme park, a must for thrill seekers and a cool beach trip, complete with sand sculpture competitions!

Our host parents are very warm and welcoming and look forward to integrating students into their families. Because our families are located in residential areas of the city, there are no host families within walking distance of school; students travel by public transport to school, the cost of a travel pass is included in the programme.
