Student Testimonials

Have a look at what students say about their EC journey to becoming more proficient in the English language during their time with us.

  • Iroha

I've been here for three months. I made a lot of friends from other countries, so I am having a good time in Cambridge. The teachers are also friendly, so you can relax and enjoy the class.

Iroha from Japan stayed in Cambridge and studied General English

    Luciano

What I liked the most about the teachers was the experience that I have got. It's not only 'standard' teaching and 'passive' learning, but a lot of interactions. I had good teachers that adapt the lesson to my questions quickly.

Luciano from Italy stayed in Miami and studied General English

    Jamila

I like EC's activities, teachers and mix of nationalities. EC offers various kinds of activities where students can make a lot of new friends. In addition, the teachers always prepare for the classes well. They try to make classes fun and interesting.

Jamila from Switzerland stayed in New York and studied Cambridge CAE Exam Preparation

  • Noura

I have improved a lot since I got here. I went from beginner to Elementary to pre-intermediate and I will continue to get where I want to be. Everyone here was lovely and the environment around me was so nice. People were helpful when you ask for anything.

Noura from Saudi Arabia stayed in Montreal and studied General English

    Chiayin Tsai

EC school has a very rich course, each class is according to each student and their level. There are many course activities such as fitness, yoga, pub night etc. I like this a lot and they help students get to know Brighton and how to live there. EC is good I like it a lot.

Chiayin Tsai from Taiwan stayed in Brighton and studied General English

    Jean-Luc

San Francisco is not too big; you can easily walk from one side to another side. It's not flat, there are hills so you can train your legs. The weather is not too hot and not too cold.

Jean-Luc from Switzerland stayed in San Francisco and studied General English

  • Barbara

I felt from the first moment being welcome in the school and my host family. Everyone was so charming, helpful and respectful! My 2 weeks here were too short. I have to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for all that you gave me!

Barbara from Switzerland stayed in Dublin 30+ and studied General English

    Aimee

In Bristol there are a lot of things that I like: amazing street art, worldwide food, live music everywhere and the people are incredibly friendly. I’m lucky because I’ve met special people in Bristol, people from different countries and locals. These people will be in my life forever, I’m sure.

Aimee from Spain stayed in Bristol and studied General English

    Yeji

I can highly recommend you to choose Oxford. Of course if you go abroad to study you can meet lots of foreign friends. But if you choose EC Oxford for developing your language, you can get extra activities with teachers and friends.

Yeji from South Korea stayed in Oxford and studied General English

  • Xavier

I came to Cape Town to study English but surprisingly, it was also possible to have fun at school so easily, learn and improve your English without realizing of it! Teachers do their best and classmates do the rest. All of them become your new references, family, friends, sources of information.

Xavier from Spain stayed in Cape Town and studied General English

    John Matteo

I decided to go at EC because it offerse many courses and its environment is wonderful. London is one of the capitals most important in the world. As a multicultural city it's easy to share knowledge with many and different countries. One place to hang out in London is Leicester Square.

John Matteo from Colombia stayed in London and studied General English

    Desiree

EC Boston is doubtlessly the best Language school I've been to. What I really like about EC is the way they teach. The teachers are well-educated and have a great sense of humor. That's why I improved my English rapidly. The staff is admirable and have the ability to help you in each situation.
