Student Testimonials

Have a look at what students say about their EC journey to becoming more proficient in the English language during their time with us.

  • Dulce

Montreal is a beautiful place. The weather is cold but I love when it's snowing. The people are so welcoming and friendly. My teachers were excellent, and I learned a lot from them. I liked this experience, my host family, and my school. I really want to come back!

Dulce from Mexico stayed in Montreal and studied General English

    Eduarda

What I like the most about EC's teachers is that they teach us with kindness and attention. My unforgettable experience here was making a lot of friends from so many countries and fun activities with the school.

Eduarda from Brazil stayed in Los Angeles and studied General English

    John Matteo

I decided to go at EC because it offerse many courses and its environment is wonderful. London is one of the capitals most important in the world. As a multicultural city it's easy to share knowledge with many and different countries. One place to hang out in London is Leicester Square.

John Matteo from Colombia stayed in London and studied General English

  • Jean-Luc

San Francisco is not too big; you can easily walk from one side to another side. It's not flat, there are hills so you can train your legs. The weather is not too hot and not too cold.

Jean-Luc from Switzerland stayed in San Francisco and studied General English

    Serafettin

Location is perfect! Since it's on Brodway, only a few minutes to times Square, you can reach the school anywhere. Even on rainy days, you don't even have to open your umberalla after exiting the subway, because it's that close. So I recommed EC New York!

Serafettin from Turkey stayed in New York 30+ and studied General English

    Hyelim

Bristol is not as crowded as London, but also not as quiet as other small towns. Before I came to Bristol, I thought it was going to be a small and boring city. After a few weeks here, I've changed my mind. If you're a person who doesn’t like big city or small town you'll like Bristol.

Hyelim from South Korea stayed in Bristol and studied General English

  • Sayaka

The lounge area at EC New York 30+ is great! There is a cozy sofa, a big table for studying or eating lunch, and computers to use whenever you need them. We also get coffee at break time!

Sayaka from Japan stayed in New York 30+ and studied General English

    Elgiz

I choose EC because I was here last year and I liked it a lot. EC has a great community and activities, which are mostly free. Teachers here are very polite and they give you a real knowledge. I always recommend EC because you can really learn English here.

Elgiz from Russia stayed in Los Angeles and studied General English

    Bruno

My stay in Cambridge has been amazing. I'm making friends from all over the world, learning different cultures and improving my English at the same time. EC teachers and staff are always looking after you. And the city is incredible, so cosy, beautiful and with a lot of activities to do.

Bruno from Brazil stayed in Cambridge and studied General English

  • Andrea

Here I had the chance to see the most beautiful places South Africa has to offer: from the strong waves crashing on the Cape of Good Hope to the African penguin colonies in Simon's Town. I don't think I'll ever forget a single thing about my language stay in Cape Town, not even the smallest detail!

Andrea from Italy stayed in Cape Town and studied General English

    Romina

I've stayed for only one week here in Brighton but I like this city. In the north Laines there are so many sweet shops. The city is really beautiful, I can walk along the seafront and I love it. There are also so many nice pubs and clubs. This city is never boring!

Romina from Switzerland stayed in Brighton and studied General English

    Elanur

Both the school and London are great places to spend time, learn English and meet new friends. Camden Town is my favourite place to hang out. The best things to do on a Sunday afternoon are shopping and going historical places of London!

Elanur from Turkey stayed in London and studied General English
