We all have busy lives and so fitting in extra activities can be difficult. At EC English Language Schools, we have a variety of options to enable you to learn English using the method and timeframe that suits you. Online, VR or in-person individual or small-group classes. If you have chosen to study in the UK for a slice of English life, we have a variety of options for you to choose from. We have courses that last months, weeks and hours.
We have a Flexible English Programme for Working People in Cambridge which consists of 12 General English lessons per week, plus four private One-to-One sessions, which are focused on your specific needs, and as part of the offering, you can have access to free office space so that you can work in a professional and comfortable environment and not have to rush from class to join calls from a noisy coffee shop.
We also offer a 4 to 24 week Unibridge specialised course for students who will be attending a university where lectures will be delivered in English, to get them to the required standard in reading, research, essay writing, presentation and listening skills, to be able to focus on learning the subject of their degree, and we also have an award winning General English series, which is the main curriculum we offer across all 22 locations around the world.
We are happy to let you know about our Afternoon English courses in Cambridge, which we are trialing till the end of 2022, so you can concentrate on work, rest or play before lessons begin.
The Afternoon Only English course in Cambridge consists of 15, 24 or 30 one-and-a-half-hour lessons per week, every afternoon from Monday to Friday. These cover special focus areas and core classes. The curriculum is the same as the standard morning class, giving students who wish to study the flexibility of being able to focus on other activities in the morning. You can of course top up with One-To-One lessons tailored by your teacher to address issues you may have including vocabulary and pronunciation.
On the leisure side, you can join in with organised social activities, including a guided tour of the famous Cambridge University Campus or our games sessions every Tuesday, where students and staff go out to a park area called Parker’s Piece and play games – football, frisbee and rounders – which is great fun in the summer months, or you can pair up with others and have a go at punting on the River Cam.
