Sharing is caring!

To qualify for an Erasmus programme to learn English in Dublin or Malta, you need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a student: You must be a student at a higher education institution in a participating country. This includes universities, colleges, and vocational schools.
  1. Be enrolled in a degree programme: You must be enrolled in a degree programme, either at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Short-term language courses are generally not eligible for Erasmus funding.
  1. Have completed at least one year of study: You must have completed at least one year of study at your home institution before applying for an Erasmus programme.
  1. Have a good academic record: You must have a good academic record, as determined by your home institution.
  1. Meet language requirements: You must have sufficient language skills in the language of instruction (in this case, English) to be able to participate in classes and communicate effectively with your peers and instructors. Some Erasmus programmes may require you to provide proof of language proficiency, such as a TOEFL or IELTS score.
  1. Be selected by your home institution: You must be selected by your home institution to participate in an Erasmus programme. This selection process may involve an application, an interview, or other criteria established by your home institution.

In addition to these requirements, you should also be aware that Erasmus programmes generally provide funding for a limited period of time, typically between 3 and 12 months.
