Folks who want to enjoy a haven of quiet and culture a visit to Balboa Park is worthwhile. San Diego’s “Central Park” boasts 18 museums, walking, and cycling trails, the Zoo, gardens and picnic spaces and architectural gems.

Theatre lovers often visit the Old Globe Theatre which is located in Balboa Park. It has a programme of events to meet all tastes and is a great way to practice listening and comprehension. Events range from adaptations of the Bard and a steampunk version of Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, Dracula and more!
Sport lovers
Sports fans must visit Petco Park, home to the baseball team, The Padres. This stadium comes to life with over 40,000 people for big games and concerts. There are also SDSU Basketball games for those who want to see a top-ranking college competition.
