EC Boston students felt an earthquake around 2 PM today while in the middle of classes.
All students and staff left their classes to go outside and later it was found out that the earthquake had originated in Washington DC but had been felt all the way up the East Coast.
Students and Teachers on the 5th and 6th floor reported that they felt their chairs, desks, including the whole building move.
It is very unusual for earthquakes to be on the East Coast and many of the students were very excited to have experienced their first earthquake once the shock of it had warn down.
For many students it was the first time many of them had felt an earthquake before.
