Happy St Patrick’s Day!!! St Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland, and this day has been celebrated since before the 1600s. Saint Patrick was said to have used the green Irish shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish. Expect lots of Irish singing, dancing and drinking of Guinness!
We are having our weekly Pub Night on Wednesday (today) this week, instead of Thursday, so that we can all celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together! Meet in King and Queen pub from 8.30pm, then we will head off later to more Irish parties. See you there!
