EC Brighton is awarded with the highest grade by the ISI.

Sharing is caring!

  • What is ISI?

ISI stands for “Independent School Inspectorate” and is an agency approved by the Secretary of State for Education and the UK Border Agency to carry out educational oversight inspections of private further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales. This inspection takes place every three years.

  • What did they do?

The inspection lasted for a week and these were the areas the ISI inspectors based its investigation on:

1.   The quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements.

2.   Students’ welfare, including health and safety.

3.   The effectiveness of governance and management.

  • What have we achieved?

1.  The quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements: GRADE 1, EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

2.  Students’ welfare, including health and safety: GRADE 1, EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS.

3.  The effectiveness of governance and management: GRADE 1, EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS.
