Hi and welcome to the EC Brighton blog. My name is Evelina and I am working as an intern in the Accommodation Office. Before I start publishing blog posts, I figured it would be a good idea to present myself.
I am 18 years old and I am here doing an internship through my business and economics school back in Sweden. I am hoping to develop my English and to get a broader view of how different companies are working. Why I believe it is so fun doing an internship at an English language school is because I get to meet people from all over the world, it is very enriching.
This is my sixth week in Brighton and I am starting to get a hold of the city. In my first week, though, where ever I walked I always seemed to end up at North street haha, if you have the same problem as I did I can tell you that it will be better, soon. I am currently staying with a host family which I really enjoy, what an amazing opportunity to discover a new culture that is!
On my spare time, I like working out, shopping, partying and cooking vegetarian food – And on Tuesdays, you are most likely to find me at Pub Night.
If you see me in the hallway, don’t hesitate on saying hi, I am just as lost in Brighton as you are
