Soo we’ve had the delight of having a group of Italians with us for the past month – but now it is their last couple of days here š
They’re taking their Trinity GESE exams today to prove how amazing they all are since studying at EC Bristol š and we’re sure they’ll all do so well. Last Friday the first Italian group left after taking the same exam – and they all came out the other side with merits andĀ distinctions!! What anĀ achievement, well done to all of them!! It just goes to show what a little practice and hard work can do.
Sooo it’s the 3rd of November today – only 48 hours until it will feel a little like a celebration of theĀ apocalypseĀ eor something..!
Of course I’m talking about Bonfire Night / Guy Fawkes Night / Firework Night! Whatever you want to call it, it’s certainly well on it’s way to being on our doorstep!
I’ve already given you some of the history behind it, so maybe now you should google some of the names and see what comes up. There are some beautiful photos to be seen!
This is what I love most about this time of year… to break us into the colder days and the even chillier nights, we have stunning landscapes and all sorts of celebrations to make up for it. There’s definitely no denying it now – Autumn is here loud and proud!!
The trees outside EC are bright yellow and gold and orange. Every time the wind blows a gust, loads of them flutter down onto the ground. It’s like something from a novel, a film or a car advert!
I have to stop typing like a poet now… I’ll speak to you all tomorrow!
