Most of our long term EC Language students are already familiar with April fools day but for students who are new to this tradition here is a short description.April Fools’ Day or All Fools’ Day, is not a bank holiday but it is a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is celebrated by playing practical jokes on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. Traditionally, in some countries, the jokes only last until noon: someone who plays a trick after noon is called an “April Fool”.
Moral of the story if you want to play a prank on your EC School teacher do it before 12:00 !!! 🙂
