On the 26th March 2011 is the annual Cambridge and Oxford Boat Race. The race dates back to 1829 when Cambridge challenged Oxford to a boat race and this tradition has continued ever since with the loser challenging the winner to a rematch every year.
The race itself is held on the River Thames in London between Putney and Mortlake.
Cambridge currently lead the by 80-75 and won the race in 2010.
