Phrasal verbs are very common in every day English. It’s possible that an English speaker might use 30 to 50 in a day! They are very important to know and important for your studies. At EC, we feel it’s important that students try to learn as many as possible, so students speak as natives do.
Here are some typical morning actions. See if you can put them in an order that’s true for you.

- Turn off the radio
- Put on your seat belt
- Set off at 7.30 am
- Get up and make the bed
- Get in your car
- Put on your clothes
- Have a shower
- Wake up at 6.30am
- Lock the door
- Lay in bed for a short time
