Sarah Jones might be the most common name in Britain, but there is nothing common about Sarah Jones, one of EC Cape Town’s great new teachers. She came to Cape Town just to stay for a month and ended up staying for good. Easy to understand since Cape Town seems to be the perfect place to live for Sarah. She doesn’t only love the sound of the ocean but is also willing to spend her last penny for good food – something we have plenty of in our city. With a bachelor’s degree in politics and sociology she came from London to South Africa. First teaching at another school in Cape Town she soon came to EC. It’s the diversity of students here at EC she loves the most, she explained to me. Sarah is very passionate about her profession, so she can’t see herself doing anything else other than teaching.
