EC teachers have been hard at work all week, getting together in groups to research various teaching methodologies. Here, one of the groups, Nicola, Nurjan and Hardie are brainstorming ideas and getting ready for the weekly teacher meeting where each group of teachers will give a short presentation on a specific teaching approach. The Lexical, Natural and Silent Approach, Task-Based Learning and The Total Physical Response will be compared and analysed against the Communicative Language Teaching, which is the method encouraged at EC. All of the groups have put a lot of effort into preparing for this meeting and everyone is looking forward to a very enriching and enjoyable learning experience. It’s great to see teachers combining forces in order to create a better learning environment for students and also developing their own skills at the same time!
