LECTURE: The Road Not Taken

Sharing is caring!

Life is filled with many choices and decisions we have to make. They can be as small as, “What should I have for lunch/dinner today?” to “Which country should I study English next year?”. If you’re a living, breathing person, you’re likely to make decisions on a very regular basis.

On Thursday, 19 September, I gave a presentation on one of my favourite poems which I studied in high school titled, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost.

The poem tells the story of a person who reaches a fork in the road – either literally or figuratively. The vocabulary and expressions are rather ‘old’ and suggest that this poem was written many years ago. The presentation was most successful and hopefully, students will be inspired to find many more creative messages in poetry!
