The English for Work class finished off a module on advertising with some very interesting and exciting presentations. Each student had to develop a product and a corresponding campaign highlighting USPs or unique selling points. The students had to rely on the knowledge, information and language skills acquired during the module, which also focused on presentation elements. They had to pitch their products and campaigns to the other students who then rigorously graded them and voted for a favourite. The winner was Alexandra for her pitch about Cape Town as a tourist destination titled “The Rainbow of the World”. She very kindly shared her prize of a Lindt chocolate amongst her classmates!
