Last weekend EC London organised an amazing trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens, also known as Kew Gardens.
EC students met outside the school in Euston to spend half day visiting this amazing place. We arrived at Kew Gardens at 12pm and we walked until 4pm but we would have needed a whole day.
The tour started at Palm House where we could admire plants and trees from tropical Countries. We moved to the Princess of Wales Conservatory where we saw different type of orchids, water lilies, cacti, lithops and carnivorous plants. This conservatory was very colorful despite the cold weather outside. EC student walked through the Rock Garden and the Alpine House with his pyramid shape.
We stopped for some photos and rest a little bit before walking to the Temperate House and the Pagoda, where our trip ended. During our walk we could see the wooden installations of an English famous sculptor, David Nash. Before leaving Kew Gardens some EC students decided to have lunch at the café situated inside the Garden.
