Christmas is coming soon, so prepare yourself for a Christmassy-looking EC London. But before our school’s Christmas decoration pops up, you can enjoy yourself by walking around in London’s city centre. The Christmas lights have been on since last week and make London look even prettier than usual.
Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus
All over Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus you will find London’s classic Christmas lights. Huge golden angels are hanging above the street and are brightening your Christmas mood. This is the place to go if you’re looking for some traditional Christmas decoration.
Carnaby Street
If you are looking out for some more colourful and diverse Christmas lights, head over to Carnaby Street. Known for its fashionable vibe, Carnaby’s Christmas lights are representing all that is cool. This year’s lights are ocean-themed. They have been designed in collaboration with an ocean conservation charity. The display was created out of 1.500 recycled bottles and repurposed fishing nets. Therefore, Carnaby’s Christmas lights are not only nice to look at, but, at the same time, have a special meaning behind them.
Covent Garden
Covent Garden also has his own Christmas decoration. These lights are mostly star-themed and make the area look even more beautiful than usual.
This year’s Christmas Lights are as stunning as usual. No matter if by day or night, you will be amazed at how breathtaking they are.
