I was at EC Malta for two months. I think this is a good school, because they have a good infrastructure and it’s close to the centre. And there are a lot of opportunities for leisure activities. I like Malta because it’s a small and nice island and it’s almost always sunny. It has a lot of little cities, where you can go for a walk along the beach or do some shopping. I booked the general course (20 lessons per week). If you like to enjoy the sunny weather in the afternoon this is the best course for you. In the evening I prefer the Hugo’s Bar and Lounge in Paceville. The Native Bar is also a pleasant place to have a drink.
My favourite activity was playing football because I love this sport and Go-Karting was fun, too. For the accommodation I recommend that you book an apartment or a residence. You will be independent and flexible. I don’t think that you will speak less English in a student’s residence than in a host family because there are other students from different countries. That’s more interesting. If I ever come back to Malta I think I’ll choose EC Malta again.
