Luiza Moura is a student from Brazil who came to improve her English and to learn French in Canada.
Here is what she would like to share about her English and French course at EC Montreal:
I chose Montreal for it being a town where I could practice both English and French. I can really feel how much my speaking and understanding have improved, especially with French, since it was the language I was the least familiar with in the first place.
I really loved the classes where we would just talk about familiar subjects, without too much formality. It was amazing getting to know so many people from different countries and cultures, and I was also surprised to meet so many Brazilians as well.
Most of my friends came from Brazil, Switzerland, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and others.
However, the most peculiar part of the trip for me was the homestay. I feel really lucky for having stayed with such a great home, with a very nice and welcoming host mother. In the end, it was a very special experience: one that I will never forget in my entire life.
