An important part of the services our school offers to students is accommodation. Students that decide to study English and/or French at EC Montreal can also chose to live with a family (English speaking, French speaking or bilingual) or in a student residence or apartment hotel.
Every spring, EC Montreal starts to actively look for and recruit families that will make our students feel welcomed and comfortable, thus adding the local culture and way of life to their language learning experience. Our homestay recruiter, Valerie Clayton, is visiting each home to ensure that the high standards that EC Montreal upholds are met, and if accepted into our programme the new families will be great hosts for our students.
Valerie is herself a homestay host for EC Montreal so knows exactly what to look for in the ideal homestay host. She has hosted students from over 35 different countries and understands that homestay is one of the most important services we offer.
Mirka Rasoaniliana is our Accommodation Coordinator and her primary role is to place students in their accommodation. She carefully matches our students’ preferences with our homestay family profile. She also meets with students who have doubts or concerns about their homestay family and is always available to accommodate the students’ requests.
If you are booking homestay with EC Montreal, know that each family was selected with great care, has been inspected and is evaluated on an on-going basis!
