If you are an EC Montreal student, having medical insurance is mandatory. If any incident should arise during a students’ stay, we need to ensure that they will get the medical attention they need and have all the services covered by their insurance provider. We wish it was mandatory to book Guard Me insurance because it is an excellent provider and they have literally thought of everything when it comes down to offering services to international students.
Their policy covers up to 2 million dollars and even includes bedside assistance. They will pay for transportation for a parent, for example, to travel to Montreal to be by their child’s side.
They cover prescription medication, doctor visits, emergency surgeries and so much more.
EC Montreal arranges Guard Me insurance for all the Young Learners students participating in the teen programme. A Guard Me representatives will come to EC Montreal in June to deliver a training session to our team of Activity Leaders.
