This afternoon, EC Montreal students got physical! We invited a personal trainer to lead a “bootcamp” style exercise class. Ernie has trained many people and has helped so many of them turn their lives around. He even trains local celebrities and gives classes to many business teams in Montreal. It was such a great experience having such a trained professional run the class.
The training included circuit exercises in different sets. This type of resistance training combines cardio with muscle training. The point is to build strength and get lean by losing fat. Everyone would agree that the class was not easy. Ernie pushed everyone to work out as hard as they could. When the class ended everyone cheered and felt such pride for what they had accomplished.
We look forward to many more events during our Health & Fitness month at EC! When you study English in Canada, you get a lot more than a language course!
Ernie will be back at the end of the month for a self-defense class! We can’t wait!
